Family photographer sessions in Surrey and SW London

Family photography sessions that provide a natural, relaxed environment, in a location of your choice.

Whether you are celebrating an occasion or wanting to update your family photos, I can provide you with a bespoke photoshoot. You want a photo session that represents you, and I will provide this through posed images and casual interaction. I will provide enough guidance for you to feel comfortable, and in an atmosphere for you to be yourself. The photoshoots can take place in one of my preferred locations in either Woking, Guildford or SW London. The shoot can also be in a favourite location of your choice, or in the comfort of your home.

I will always suggest that we take advantage of the best natural light for outdoor sessions, so that will usually be around 7-10am in the morning, or an hour or two before sunset. If you have young children, I will suggest hours that go with their schedule so they won’t be tired!

Dogs, or any pet you have, are welcome to attend family photoshoots. After all, they are part of the family!

Before the session

After you contact me, I will respond within two working days. We can text, phone or video call to discuss our session. I will help advise on what, or what not to wear. We can discuss locations - if you have somewhere in mind, or if you want the photoshoot at your home for a relaxing environment. I am always location scouting, searching for the best backdrops for different times of year, so I will have my preferred locations that I can offer to you. Once the booking is confirmed, payment will be due before our session.

During the session

We will meet in our location of choice. I always greet my clients in a welcoming manner and we will have a short chat before I start taking photos. I truly believe that even a short chat has the ability to make for a more relaxing session. If there are young children at the photoshoot, I will interact with them and we can even play some games! I have a lot of experience with children, from being a parent, a teaching assistant and a Girlguiding leader. Don’t worry if your child is in a mood, I’ve seen it all! I sometimes get the parents involved in getting their childrens' attention through interaction and play. I aim for a fun, enjoyable session that will produce natural, expressive moments. I will only occasionally direct for family poses, I can help with posing and what to do with your hands for a natural look.

After the session

Please allow 5-7 days to recieve your gallery of edited photos. The gallery will feature the best from the session. These photos are for you to keep, are included in the overall price (no surprises!). The photos will capture memorable moments that I hope you will cherish for years to come.

The Mini Session - £93

This session is a 30 minute shoot and a gallery of 8 edited, digital images.

The Standard Session - £185

This session is a 60 minute shoot and a gallery of 16 edited, digital images.

The Upgraded Session - £255

This session is a 120 minute shoot and a gallery of 26 edited, digital images.

Please note: A deposit of £50 is due once the booking is confirmed, to secure your session, which is included in the £93, £185 or £255.
