About Christina
Hi, I'm Christina. I'm a mother of two living in Pyrford, outside of Woking, and a professional photographer, obtaining my certification through the Institute of Photography in June 2026.
My journey in photography started as a child with film cameras, taking photos around my hometown in Minnesota, USA. I started playing around with digital photography in the 2000s, and ended up taking some event photography at the IFC Centre while I lived in New York City. I moved to the UK in 2009, first living in Glasgow where I got my Master's degree in Human Rights and Politics at the University of Glasgow. I then moved to London for work, and now live in Pyrford.
My love of photography includes all types of the medium, including alternative processes. I have been a member of the London Alternative Photography Collective since it started in 2012. In 2024, after being a stay-at-home mother for awhile, I decided to take digital photography a step further and started training to become a professional photographer. I have been mentored by professional portrait photographers in London that were enriching experiences. I've attended several workshops covering all genres of photography and recently completed my professional photography certification.
I’ve met so many interesting and wonderful people on this journey. I can’t wait to share my knowledge and experience that I will bring to your shoot.
If you decide to book with me, I look forward to meeting you and capturing memories that you will cherish.
